The Chicago Red Line is the newest Synchronized Skating team in the city of Chicago, representing this amazing city’s south side with pride!

Due to the Global Pandemic, the Chicago Red Line for 2020 – 2021 is hosting a “Training Only Season”. Under this plan, the season will not include competitions or travel, and will focus on skater development.

Chicago Red Line Synchronized Skating Teams

Synchronized Skating is a competitive team sport, made up of 8 – 16 skaters who perform a program together. It is characterized by teamwork, speed, formations and step sequences. Levels range from beginner to World Championship level competitions. We are proud to field two teams this season, in the Synchro Skills 1 and Synchro Skills 2 levels – the two beginning levels of synchro! Our newly formed competitive teams will compete in 3 competitions for the 2019-20 season, and will finish off with a performance in our annual Spring Ice Show.

If you’re interested in joining the Chicago Red Line, we accept skaters who are in Basic 5 and up, and as young as 7! We will not be holding a competitive season for the 2020-2021 season, but will host a Training Season. This will allow us to keep the skaters physically distanced, work on individual skills, and get creative with ways we will work on ‘connecting’ skaters to work on team elements.
