Parent and Child Class Options

Mommy and Me Yoga

Parent and Tot Yoga will create a space where parent and tot can connect with each other while developing gross motor skills and creativity. Play, imagination, routing, language development, and naming and allowing emotions will all be taught and explored throughout this class. We will work on complex physical skills such as skipping, jumping, yoga postures, and contact between parent and child. Moms and dads welcome!

Please bring 2 yoga mats (1 for parent and 1 for the tot) to the class to use.

Moms, Pops, and Tots Interaction

This activity provides an opportunity for children and parents or caregivers to play, interact and learn together. Infants and toddlers participate in activities that help develop motor and social skills with a "hands on" and discovery approach to excite them to learn about the world that surrounds them. Enjoy open coloring, storytelling, parachute play, music and movement, plus a variety of other activities in a parent-assisted environment.

This is a class for both one parent and one child.

Parent and Me Zumba

Parent & Me Zumba will create a space where a parent and child can connect with each other while developing gross motor skills and creativity.

Prenatal Yoga

Prenatal yoga focuses on poses for pregnant women, in order to increase strength and flexibility. It also helps pregnant women to develop proper breathing and relaxation techniques for easier and more comfortable labor.

Child Only Options

Mighty Munchkins

This high energy class incorporates fun and engaging activities for young children to develop essential life skills for healthy living. Children will experience a variety of games, stretching and yoga techniques, movement and music activities, along with obstacle courses and other teambuilding exercises.

Fun and Games

Individuals will have a lot of fun participating in recreational games and other basic activities in this energetic activity. This program may include opportunities to learn the basic skills in various sports and activities while also having the chance for open activity in coloring and games.

Yoga

We’ll explore movement through a variety of playful postures, play games that promote awareness and community building, and work into breathing exercises and meditative techniques to foster a sense of tranquility and self-regulation. Yoga is the perfect activity for guiding kids into healthy growth both mentally and physically. Plus, it’s a lot of fun!

Please bring your own yoga mat if you have one, otherwise one will be provided.

Flexibility and Stretching

Students will increase flexibility and coordination by stretching and practicing specific skills to help perform better in other activities such as dance, gymnastics, cheer, and skating. Students will apply their new skills to dynamic movement through dance styles such as jazz and ballet, while utilizing breathing technique. Participants will use new foundations of flexibility training to improve their overall well-being.

Intro to Jumping Rope

In this course, we’ll help you get started with your jump rope training by showing you the basic tools, techniques, and skills you will need to make the most out of your jump rope skills. We’ll teach you the fundamental techniques of jumping, how to master simple exercises, how to avoid injuries, and even how to put together fun and effective jump rope workouts. If you’re new to jump rope training, this course will get you started quickly and develop trips and skills needed to progress through your jump rope journey. We will work on both individual jumping and progress into single rope group jumping. Gain the necessary skills to gradually work into a double dutch (two rope group jumping).
